Bridge

A Bridge is a restoration in which a prosthetic tooth/teeth are attached to the teeth which bound a missing tooth space. Normally it is a row of crowns which sit over two teeth nearest to a missing tooth space. The tooth which replaces the missing tooth is not attached to the gums, rather it sits over the gum area where the missing tooth used to be and looks as if that tooth was very natural.
